Hungary and Saxony agree on issues that affect the future of Europe

“Political and economic relations between Hungary and Saxony are exemplary”, Minister President of Saxony and President of the Bundesrat Stanislaw Tillich said at a meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in Budapest.

The head of the Prime Minister’s Press Office, Deputy State Secretary Bertalan Havasi told kormany.hu: At the meeting, which was held in Viktor Orbán’s study in the Parliament Building, there was agreement on current problems, including on handling the migration crisis and on issues concerning the future of the continent.

According to the Press Chief, Viktor Orbán and Stanislaw Tillich also expressed satisfaction with regard to the state of inter-party relations in view of the fact that the alliance between Saxony’s CDU party, of which Mr. Tillich is President, and Fidesz has been strong and successful for many years.
