Mr. Havasi told the press that at the meeting the Prime Minister and the Senior Rabbi determined that religious reasons are also in the background of various conflicts around the world, and accordingly nowadays not only is tolerance between the followers of various religions required, but also mutual respect and acceptance.

The Senior Rabbi expressed his satisfaction with the fact that the Hungarian government is undertaking responsibility for every Hungarian citizen.

Mr. Havasi said that Mr. Orbán and Mr. Schneier agreed that it is very significant that next week, for the first time since the fall of communism, a prime minister of Israel is making an official visit to Hungary.
