New president of the Hungarian Olympic Committee (MOB) can make the work of the organisation and Hungarian athletes a success

Bertalan Havasi, the head of the Press Office of the Prime Minister, has told miniszterelnok.hu that Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has written a letter of congratulations to Krisztián Kulcsár, the newly-elected president of the MOB.

“Following in the footsteps of Albert Berzeviczy, Géza Andrássy, Pál Schmitt and Zsolt Borkai is not only a special honour, but an inspiring task and an uplifting responsibility”, the Prime Minister wrote, adding that, with his international experience and reforming ideas, the newly-elected president could make the work of both the Olympic committee and Hungarian athletes a success.

At the end of his letter the Prime Minister wished Mr. Kulcsár strength and health in his new role.
