Prime Minister Viktor Orbán consulted with Fidesz-KDNP MEPs

On Monday afternoon in the Carmelite Monastery, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán received Members of the European Parliament for Fidesz-KDNP, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.

At the year-opening meeting, the most important challenges facing Europe were on the agenda. Attendees of the meeting highlighted that keen political debates were expected in the EU in 2021 as well.

The economic crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the difficulties encountered in the procurement of vaccines, the consequences of Brexit and the encouragement of immigration in Brussels are only some of the problems we are facing.

Attendees of the meeting confirmed that the Hungarian government-party MEPs will stand up for Hungary and the Hungarian people’s interests with maximum resolve, the press chief reported.
