Prime Minister Viktor Orbán offered his most sincere condolences to Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi, President of Egypt, and Pope Tawadros II, leader of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria, on account of the bombings committed in the Church of St. George in the city in Tanta in Egypt on Sunday.

Following the terrorist attack on a Coptic Christian church in Cairo, Bertalan Havasi, Minister of State heading the Press Office of the Prime Minister, has told Hungarian news agency MTI that Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has sent telegrams of condolence to leader of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria Pope Tawadros II and to Egyptian President Adbel Fattah el-Sisi.

At the Cairo office of the Pope of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán met the relatives of Coptic Christian men executed in Libya. He expressed his condolences to the family members present and gave them gift packages.
