Bertalan Havasi, Head of the Press Office of the Prime Minister, has informed miniszterelnok.hu that, in the EPP’s Brussels headquarters on Thursday afternoon, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and EPP President Joseph Daul held talks on next week’s Malta EU summit and the most important challenges which Europe is currently facing.

Migration is one of the priorities of the Maltese presidency of the Council of the EU, therefore this issue was at the top of the meeting’s agenda, with special regard to the fact that the congress of the EPP – which Fidesz is also a member of – will also be organised in Malta at the end of March.
