Viktor Orbán in Krakow and Auschwitz

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and his spouse, Anikó Lendvai, laid a wreath at the mausoleum of former Polish President Lech Kaczynski and his wife Maria in Krakow.

Lech Kaczynski was Poland’s President of the Republic from 2005 until his death in a plane crash near Smolensk in 2010.

According to the information provided by Deputy State Secretary heading the Prime Minister’s Press Office Bertalan Havasi, in the afternoon the Hungarian Prime Minister will be taking part in the event organised to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp in the company of the heads of state and government of several countries, and will be placing a candle at the Hungarian language plaque commemorating the victims of Birkenau.
