“We Hungarians greatly appreciate your dedication and the efforts you have made for the Olympic movement and the world of sports for many years,” the Prime Minister wrote, reassuring Mr Bach in his message of Hungary’s continued support.

The Prime Minister also praised the International Olympic Committee’s reform programme called ‘Olympic Agenda 2020’. “I believe that Agenda 2020 and the new rules relating to the process of the organisation of the Olympic Games will open up new opportunities for cities with overarching and ambitious dreams,” he added.
