Prime Minister Viktor Orbán had talks with Chairman of National Assembly of Vietnam

Vuong Dinh Hue congratulated Mr Orbán also in person on his landslide election victory which in his view proves that during the course of its work the Hungarian government’s number one priority is to serve the Hungarian people and the Hungarian people’s best interests.

At the meeting, which was also attended by Justice Minister Judit Varga, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó and Minister for Culture and Innovation János Csák, the parties established with satisfaction that every year as many as 200 Vietnamese students have the opportunity to study in Hungary with state scholarship grants, and the two countries’ trade volume is also on the rise.

Both the Hungarian and Vietnamese parties are open to intensifying cooperation in the fields of military security, the defence industry, tourism, agriculture and the pharmaceutical industry, Mr Havasi reported.
