Prime Minister Viktor Orbán to travel to Brussels on Thursday afternoon to attend EU-Africa summit

On Thursday afternoon, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will join his counterparts in Brussels and will attend the EU-Africa summit, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the news portal Origo.

“Mr Orbán asked the Polish prime minister to represent Hungary at the brief extraordinary EU summit concerning the Russia-Ukraine situation to be held in the early afternoon as at that time the Hungarian Prime Minister will be holding talks with the Brazilian president in Budapest,” the news portal reported.

Earlier, the Hungarian Prime Minister spoke to President of the European Council Charles Michel by telephone about the crisis in Ukraine; they reviewed and assessed the situation, they added.
