Prime Minister Viktor Orbán visited church-operated elderly care home

On Thursday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán paid a visit to the Árpád-házi Szent Erzsébet Social Care Home in Budapest, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI, adding that the Prime Minister posted a video of the visit on his Facebook account.

The Prime Minister was received by Viktor Nagy, head of the institution. Mr Orbán was informed about the medical work under way in the care home; at the time of his visit, residents were being tested for coronavirus infection. So far, no infected person has been found yet in the elderly care home which is operated by the Our Lady of Hungary Women’s Society of Apostolic Life. At present, the institution has 100 residents over the age of 80; the average age is near 90 years, Mr Havasi highlighted.

The Prime Minister was informed about the coronavirus testing process, and the quality and reliability of different tests.
