Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s inspection at the Hungarian-Ukrainian border

On Friday morning, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán conducted an inspection at the Hungarian-Ukrainian border in Barabás, Bertalan Havasi, the head of the Press Office of the Prime Minister informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.

The Prime Minister, State Secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office Miklós Soltész and Government Spokesperson Alexandra Szentkirályi heard the report of border police officers regarding the security situation, the number of refugees arriving from Ukraine and the circumstances in which they are received.

Mr Orbán also informed himself about the care provided for refugees at the Barabás aid centre of Caritas Hungary, the Aid Organisation of the Hungarian Catholic Church and the Hungarian Interchurch Aid, the press chief reported.
