The brutal terrorist attack in New Zealand has regrettably proved once again that in the 21st century hatred, violence and terrorism know no borders, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán wrote in his letter of condolence sent to New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardem.

Mr Orbán, who offered his deepest condolences on behalf of the Hungarian people due to the terrorist attack that took place in Christchurch, pointed out in his letter that Hungary and its government condemn every form of violence, and continue to support the international efforts that are being made to curb terrorism and violent acts of extremism.

In the Friday Christchurch terrorist attack fifty people died, and another fifty were injured. The perpetrator is an Australian national.
