We protect the borders of Hungary and Europe together with NATO

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán – the only one from among the heads of state and government of NATO Member States – attended in person the organisation’s emergency summit on Friday in Brussels. At the NATO headquarters, the Hungarian Prime Minister had talks with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Bertalan Havasi, the head of the Press Office of the Prime Minister informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.

The Member States consulted with regard to the Russian attack on Ukraine via video conference. Other than Mr Orbán, the meeting was attended in person by NATO Ambassadors.

Arriving at the NATO headquarters, the Hungarian Prime Minister repeatedly confirmed that in the present war situation, the number one priority is the security of Hungary, and also highlighted that we protect the borders of Hungary and Europe together with NATO, the press chief said.
